On October 31, the exhibition center Worker and Kolkhoz Woman will host a performance of a story about a kind witch. The production called Room on the Broom is based on the book by Julia Donaldson and will be staged in English by the Flying Banana Children’s Theatre.
In the warm and cozy atmosphere of the place, the cast of British and Canadian actors directed by Martin Cook will present a kind musical tale about a friendly witch flying with her cat over fields and forests, occasionally losing their belongings, making new friends and trying to escape from a hungry dragon. The story of a true friendship will touch the hearts of kids and their parents. A musical tale full of surprising twists and rich in visual effects, Room on the Broom will be perfectly comprehensible for little viewers with even basic command of the English language.
Flying Banana Children’s Theatre is the only Moscow-based children’s theatre staging colorful productions for little viewers in English. The professional playwrights and actors engaged in the project are native English speakers; over its 10 years of history, the theatre has earned a perfect reputation.
Tickets are available at the box offices of the Worker and Kolkhoz Woman Center and online at the website of Manege and Voxxter.ru.
The ticket price is 750 rubles.
